I wish to have a happy room – F., 6

“Do fairies exist today? Of course they exist and they’re here to make every child’s world more beautiful and magical.”

That was what F.’s mother told us after her daughter’s wish had been granted.

1. is a sweet girl and everyone that met her, even from the very first moment, realized her great thirst to discover the world! Although her illness had brought difficulties in her daily life, it had not stopped her desire to explore and discover everything.

Since she spends a lot of time in her room, her wish was to have a happy room, with vibrant colours and her favorite character Peppa The Pig. It was now up to her fairy, to create for her a beautiful and calm space, filled with everything the little girl loved.

As her room was being prepared, F. stayed with her grandmother in the countryside, so she was unaware of what was going on. When she returned and she opened her room’s door, she stood motionless and kept looking all around her. She slowly started exploring her new room and discovered every new detail. New colorful curtains, pillows and light features, stickers and toys were placed. Everything was very lively and happy, and they made F. excited! She opened her new Peppa toys and played for hours, she danced to many songs, and she kept happily and giggly going round and round on her new office chair.

She may not express herself with words, but her moves and bright smile showed us how happy she was, removing any doubts about whether we had succeeded in granting her wish!

And like her mother told us “This has been a beautiful trip, that ended with the most beautiful room that our little girl could have”.
