I wish to have a gaming computer – M., 15, diabetes mellitus type 1

Μ. is a kind teenager who is very interested in technology. When he got in touch with the fairy, he told her that his wish was to have a gaming computer.

As a huge fan of Formula 1, he mentioned to the fairy that he had recently discovered a team of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki that has developed a single-seater. So, the fairies thought they could combine all that M. loves and give him a wonderful day he would never forget.

Having prepared a lot of surprises, their day started with ART (Aristotle Racing Team). They gave him a very warm welcome, followed by a thorough presentation of the single-seater they have developed. Μ. was watching carefully, grasping every piece of information. Next stop was at a go-kart track. He loves go-kart and drift games, so he could not wait to start racing! The competition was hard but he managed to finish first and his joy was overwhelming!

After all this energy they consumed at the games, a meal at a wonderful restaurant was just what they all needed to “recharge”. The atmosphere was very nice, M. was having a lovely time and had actually believed that he was not going to get the computer that day. Little did he know…

When he arrived home and opened the door of his room, he was speechless staring at his brand new gaming computer that was already set up! The fairy and the elf were also there waiting for him. “Wow! I am stunned!”, he yelled right away and run towards his computer. The smile did not leave his face and his happiness was obvious and, so, the fairy and the elf left happy that their mission had been accomplished.
