Board of Directors comprises of legally elected members who offer voluntarily, reliably and passionately their services, their knowledge and experience to Make-A-Wish Greece. They cover a large part of our activities and are responsible for creating the Organization’s strategy, enforcing procedures, complying with national laws and the Articles of Incorporation of the global Organization as well as reporting to the CEO. The term of Board members lasts 3 years and renews automatically for another 3 years. After 6 years have passed, though, the member is asked to withdraw, but can return after a one-year pause for another 6 years. The purpose of this principle is to avoid identifying the Organization with certain persons and to have as many persons as possible contribute at a volunteering and leadership level.
