“This is the first time anyone has given me a present, I am so happy to meet you!”, A.’s words melted our hearts. A. is a teenager who lives in the province of Greece with his family who is financially struggling, that is why he truly appreciates whatever is given to him.
When he saw the presents and all the arrangements his fairies had made for him a smile lit his face. Knowing he loves Italy, his fairies had arranged for a meal at an Italian restaurant. There was a table full of presents waiting for him there. Excited he started opening them not believing all these were for him.
The fairies had bought presents for his little brother too who was equally surprised and happy.The family and the fairies enjoyed a delicious Italian meal having a nice conversation. What A. needed most was not just the mobile phone, but a different experience like this one, a great meal at a beautiful restaurant with people who really cared about him.
When he finally saw the new smartphone he just couldn’t believe it was his! Everybody could see how emotional and grateful he felt, especially his parents who saw their child so happy! His fairy told us that the child had opened up to her, talked about his likes and dislikes, gave her a warm hug when she left, making her feel that it was all worth it!
