There is a saying that every journey is experienced three times: in your dreams, as you live it, and in your memories. K. lived through all three of these stages when fairies and elves granted his wish to visit the enchanting city of Prague.
The initial foray into the world of travel made an enduring impact on both K. and his family. He couldn’t believe that he was actually in the city he had dreamed of visiting, exploring all the places he had witnessed in movies. Prague, for him, will linger as a cherished memory, akin to the sweet taste of the ice cream he savored during his strolls through the city streets.
And his mother’s words are the best witness: “Thank you very much for this gift you gave us. Our children’s eyes were shining. Our everyday life has many difficulties and we managed to steal some hours of carefree time. We had never traveled abroad… How much we enjoyed it!”
